2009 Hat's Off Luncheon a Tremendous Success!

Over 500 women (well...mostly women anyway!) gathered in Ault Park on Wednesday, May 27 for the Third Annual Hats Off Luncheon, presented by PNC Bank and the Oliver Family Foundation. The event raised over $100,000 to endow family programming in the new Cincinnati Riverfront Park. As you can see, THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING for the city's new front door: Cincinnati Riverfront Park!

Longtime Parks supporter Lib Stone was honored with the Phyllis Smale Award for her strong and unwavering support of the mission of Cincinnati Parks.

Keynote speaker Tupper Thomas of the Bryant Park Alliance in Brooklyn, NY gave a talk on the importance of urban greenspace. Everyone involved had a great time, and even the rain drops held off!
