Call for Volunteers to Build a Park Playground on March 29
Come out and join forces to build a great and much-needed playground for children with KaBOOM!, Cincinnati Parks and the Madieu Williams Foundation on March 29! KaBOOM! is a national non-profit organization that envisions a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America. Our playground build begins early in the morning with volunteers arriving at an empty site at 8:30; by afternoon volunteers will have transformed the space into a vibrant neighborhood-gathering place. This is an old-fashioned barn raising--with an urban twist!
Build Site Address: Owl's Nest Park,
1984 Madison Road, 45208

Mt. Airy Forest:
This is a great time of year to declare war on honeysuckle! With your help, we canreduce the encroachment fo this non-native pest in our largest park.Even a couple of hours is a great help at Mt. Airy. Groups of any size are welcome!
Burnet Woods:
This Clifton gem can use more attention to remove non-native plants. Come spring, the great yield of work done now will be seen in wildflowers and more native species. This is a convenient location for UC students!
Eden Park: Invasive species control is needed in the President's Grove and Mirror Lake areas. Groups of volunteers will enjoy working together in this beautiful location that is loved by so many.
Groups are welcome to sign up now to volunteer in April and May.
